Yesterday Halo: Campaign Evolved was released, I briefly watched a friend play this game and although the campaign mode looked as tedious and at times slow as I had recalled, it reminded me of Halo: Combat Evolved. In particular, it reminded me of how the demo for this game came with free local multiplayer on Blood Gulch, the first half of a campaign mission, and how the game had an absolutely fantastic menu screen which featured the main theme for the game, a real gem.
