I’d heard people make references to this movie lots of times when discussing environmental crises and stories of civilian triumph in the face of corporate greed. It was a pretty good movie in that it afforded Erin’s character a lot of dimension which was much appreciated. Although at times the acting was a bit over-the-top it didn’t turn completely surreal in the sense that the narrative of Erin’s down-to-earth approach earning crucial trust and support for her case was very believable. It’s a shame that Erin’s case against PG&E is one of very few real “wins” against unbridled corporate abuse in the US.
