While this movie did succeed at being pretty unsettling I didn’t feel it was that great of a film. My main gripes are with the main character being extraordinarily unlikable and completely clueless from beginning to end and the fact that a lot of what Nikki does seems extremely abnormal even for somebody madly in love. On that note, the movie follows this super overdone cursed monkey’s paw story-line and doesn’t bring much new to the table overall. At least it’s not too long, so while it doesn’t deliver anything super groundbreaking it doesn’t spend ages to do so either.
